Happy Birthday Bob - 7 songs to commemorate Bob Dylan at 70

In the mid-sixties Dylan would stay up all night, tapping away at his typewriter while chain smoking cigarettes, and crank out prose poems fueled by his two muses, Rimbaud and amphetamines.

One wonders how he could remember ten paragraphs of lyrics when performing songs like Desolation Row and The Gates of Eden?

My favorite is It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) which reminds us:

While preachers preach of evil fates
Teachers teach that knowledge waits
Can lead to hundred-dollar plates
Goodness hides behind its gates
But even the president of the United States
Sometimes must have to stand naked
